I really, really, really do not want to have to install Leopard on an external drive just to accomplish my little goal. I am in a right pickle because Parallels (the company) has managed to screw me over - their version 3 application/program fails to even launch in Snow Leopard, thereby preventing me from doing anything fun like mounting the drive, and they want me to pay full price for an upgrade just to work in SL. My ultimate goal is merely to mount and browse this. All of the forum postings I have found speak of using this. You can also include an appropriate shell startup file stub to set PVM.
